Built on Love.
Built for You.
The story behind the mission — and the grandmother who started it all.
"She believed in me when I didn't know how to believe in myself. This house is named for her — because every mother deserves that."
— Aysia Epps, Founder of Ceenie's House
She Showed Up.
So We Did Too.
Ceenie's House was created in honor of Ceenie — a grandmother who stepped in when it mattered most. When her granddaughter became a teenage mother, Ceenie offered what so many young mothers never receive: guidance, stability, and someone who truly believed in her. That presence changed everything.
This organization exists because every mother deserves community — especially young Black mothers who are so often expected to carry emotional, financial, and generational weight alone, without support, without a soft place to land.
Ceenie's House is that place. A space where no mother has to figure it out alone.
When a Mother Heals —
Her Whole Family Heals.
That's not just our tagline. That's the reason we exist. Every program, every workshop, every circle — it's all built around that truth.
Our Three Pillars
Peer-Led Mental Health Support
Safe, judgment-free spaces where mothers share, heal, and support one another through peer-led mental health circles and guided discussions.
Healthy Parent-Child Relationships
Trauma-informed education designed to help mothers understand the impact of generational patterns and build stronger, more connected family systems.
Skill-Based Workshops
Hands-on, practical workshops covering financial literacy, emotional wellness, self-advocacy, and career readiness — always free, always accessible.
Ready to Find Your Community?
You don't have to carry this alone. Ceenie's House is here — free, open, and built for you.
